John Pritchard has had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of technology environments over the last 35 years and develop a network of resources which he has been able to combine with his own experience to provide a valued service to his clients... and he will do the same for you.  Here is a quick summary:

  • 1980-87 John attended the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology while working at the Advanced Design Labs of Control Data corporation and ETA Systems where he had the opportunity to work with some brilliant engineers in the development of the world's fastest computer - the ETA-10.
    1987-94 – John moved into the college technology support field working for Carleton College and Western Iowa Tech Community College.
  • 1994-2018 – John and Kathy decided to take the big step of starting their own business. Some of the highlights in the 24+ years include:
    • ​​- Starting the first commercial web hosting service in the Midwest - SiouxLAN.com - and helped a catalog company increase their annual revenue from $800K to $12M
    • - Developed a team providing IT Services to hundreds of companies in Sioux City, Omaha, Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.
    • - Consultant to software development companies helping them transition their environment from server-based to a hosted to the cloud
    •  - Consultant to major projects for City, County, Education and a wide variety of Business organizations.
  • 2018-Present - John brought his business and management skills to K12 education as the Director of Technology for the Sioux City Community School District.  As Director, John led the Technology Department to accomplish 1:1 technology, assessed and applied many security improvements and prepared the District for face-to-face, hybrid and remote learning
